Contribute

How can I contribute?

There are many ways to contribute to the OSCAR project.

The first resource is the list of the different efforts. If you are interesting in contributing to one of these efforts, feel free to contact OSCAR developers (most of the time, each effort provides a contact information).

Another resource is the oscar-devel mailing list (after subscribing) at oscar-devel@lists.sourceforge.net where you can ask questions, submit patches and so on.

We also have an IRC channel on irc.freenode.net -- #oscar-cluster where users and developers engage in HPC-related discussions.

The OSCAR project is also very active with open-source events such as the Google Summer of Code (see below for more information).

OSCAR is an Open Source project, and we welcome your participation. The OSCAR Project Page is hosted at SourceForge.

We use Subversion for our code repository and it is accessible here. If you would like to request for an account, please post an email to the oscar-devel list after subscribing to the list at our sourceforge page. For instructions on how to check code out as an developer or an anonymous user, follow this link.

The following are some areas we are looking for help with:

If you think you can help with any of the above areas, or simply have some suggestions for us, please feel free to drop us a note at oscar-devel@lists.sourceforge.net.

Google Summer of Code
